It's been about a month since I've been researching these cars to replace my 97 Accord Lx as I've been offered a fair amount for it by a Co-worker..
I'm mainly looking for VERY LOW mileage commuter that can seat 4 people. Since I drive quite a bit of miles (Between 40-60K a year) I want something very comfy and a bit more luxurious than my Lx. Also I WANT HIDs :biggrin: .
These days 03 G35s with fairly low miles (25-35K) are going for about $22K. They are definitely nice cars, but also VERY COMMON around these parts (SoCal).
The Lexus is also a very nice car and very luxurious interior and ride + very quiet as well..they are the more $$$ on the used car market though for CPOs.
The CL-S/TL-S are also very nice, but upon my testdrive yesterday, I really was not "feeling it" as far as performance and interior quality. The Engine is also quite noisy when pushed. PLUS there is this Auto Tranny ISSUES that is very well documented on these cars.
Basically these cars can be had for the LOW $20sK except for the Lexus which is quite a bit more..Mid-high $20sK.
I was also very intrigued about this ONE german car that seems like a good deal, but it's from a private party and NO warranty..It's a Yellow/Black 2001 Audi S4 with 24K miles and she is asking $22+K. I'm mostly concerned about this cars true cost of ownership..but I'm sure this car hauls a$$ :biggrin: .
