It cools down under normal driving, but under acceleration it starts to blow warmer air. Does it need recharging? Just curious.

Thanks guys. I'll check for bubbles first....then run the diagnostics. Funny thing, it only warms a bit...then cools right down again, but it seems these kind of deals get worse before they get better.

The system was slightly low on R-12. I checked the sight glass a saw a small amount of bubbles and had the local Goodyear dealership's A/C specialist top it off. It's been fine since.

As a side note...I found that I could have saved about $30 a tire over Tireracks price on Goodyear GS F-1's and had them mounted and balanced right there. I was suprised the dealer could beat Tirerack by so much.
