AC Evaporator Core

I have a 2005 NSX #249 that has a bad AC Evaporator Core. Acura states that only a core for a 2005 will fit, other years do not. I have ordered 2 Universal NSX cores that were spec'd to fit my car but in fact did not. They were @ 3/8" too long and the case would not close. Acura wants $600 jobber price for the core. Can anyone suggest an alternate source?
