ABS, power locks, Cruise Ctrl, & LED strip co-dependent?

ABS/TCS electrical gremlins.

I have a few electrical faults with the car:

-I have the semi-infamous random "brake lamp" warning light (i.e. the idiot light on the dash that tells you you have a bulb out)
-Sporadic re-occurring ABS warning light that doesn't hold a code
-Sporadic re-occurring TCS warning light that doesn't hold a code
-Cruise control worked perfectly and then inexplicably stopped
-Driver's side power lock switch works when it feels like it

It seems all of these things share a common circuit to a degree. There is a Green/White (labeled in the diagram on page 23-204 in the online manual) wire that seems to interconnect the cruise control, TCS, ABS control unit, and more or less all of the brake lights.

The driver's side door lock control, I don't think shares the circuit, but it does share a common ground point (G401).

The question I have is, given the diagram on P 23-204, if the high-mount brake light were, hypothetically, unplugged; would that interrupt the function of all of those other items as well?

Lastly, because I couldn't find it in the manual, where, on the car, is G501?

As an update:

-I added a supplemental ground wire at G401. This did not correct the problem.
-I confirmed continuity between the harness side of the high-mount brake lamp circuit and G401 (the GRN/WHT wire in the diagram)

-Both rear wheel-speed sensors are new
-The engine was recently out of the car
-This seems to only happen when the car sits for a long time, and gets cold. When I start it, the ABS/TCS lights will come on.
+ If I immediately turn the car off and try to pull a code, I just get
constant-on from both.
+ If I drive the car any real distance, then turn it off and immediately
back on, the lights go off and everything works.

ALso, I still don't know where G501 is....

I'm trying to figure out where the next most likely place to look should be at this point.

g501 is in the trunk drivers side fender.. i have the brake light dash issue too and did the ground wire trick...didnt work

Thanks for that! The brake lamp light is annoying. Obviously, I'm more concerned with sorting out the ABS/TCS issue. I just suspect they may be related somehow.

Intermittent electrical problems really are the worst....
