Hi all,

Just about to buy a used nsx. (95)
Just sent out the deposit. I have to fly out from Hawaii to get it.
Car is located in LA area. My wife and I are very excited.
The car has 90k on it.
Need help knowing what I shoud do as soon as I get it. (maintanance)
What thing to watch out for, and what not to do.
Any help would really help.

Thank
George

See if you can find out its maintenance history. If you can't, or if no maintenance has been done, I would recommend the following:

1. All 90K maintenance (includes the fluids and filters and valve adjustment etc of the 30K and 60K maintenance, plus the timing belt replacement)

2. Water pump replacement (this is normally done at the same time as the timing belt replacement, but you won't find it listed in the schedule)

3. Coolant replacement (this is normally done at the same time as the water pump replacement, although you'll find it in the schedule at 45K/75K/etc) - then you can wait another 2 years or 30K miles

4. Replace all cooling system hoses (not in the schedule but a good idea as a preventive measure)

If you're looking for a place to take it in the L.A. area before you get the car home, Autowave in Huntington Beach is very experienced in NSX service and worth taking it to.
