After three NSX and exhausts by Tubi, ARK, GT-Rom, a Custom one and listening to a few others, I had an epiphany; I do not need one exhaust! I need two exhausts. So I designed a system that can be change in 10 minutes. I have two exhausts now, one that goes from raspy and nice ( tubi loud ) at idle and high pitched at high rpms ( Gruppe M - GT-Rom F1 ) and one loud for club drives.

Here are the videos, enjoy!

Normal one

Loud one

One is a y pipe into two canisters, the other is just a straight pipe.

So is it like this?

#1, header/oem manifold to y-pipe to muffler/canisters (no cats)

#2, header/oem manifold to straight pipe back (no cats or muffler)

If not, then more details please :)

That is just like it is.

I am getting a set of Taitec headers installed soon and can only imagine the sound will increase.

Are you using a cut out or some sort of bypass valve or do you literally swap out the muffler?

I literally swap out the muffler when I go out with my mates. It is only 3 17 mm bolts. I am lucky enough to have a pit at home, so is just a matter of minutes. It takes me longer to move the car in position than to change it out!

Nice work Ary,

Now I wonder which one you use for the tunnel runs

regards, Paul

The quiet one has a wimpy tip... and the loud one has a big fat tip... I suppose that is by design?

I know which one to put on for the Brecons meet LOL. ( Bring Earmuffs )

Cheers,

Ary

PS It takes one beer for the exhaust to cool off, or less in the winter.

The quiet one's tips are the same size as the NA1 NSX-R factory exhaust. The loud one was just something my exhaust guy found on the recycle bin!
