Some of you may know that I recently bought a disassembled car. I am talking the whole shebang and it is now sitting in my garage on various shelves or dollies. Anyway, today the seller sent me a care package with about a six inch thick binder of receipts, owner's manual, etc. My jaw dropped. I was not expecting this.
Within the package was the name of the original owner and who just happened to be on Prime. In fact, his car was sold here. So, I did what any curious person would do...I contacted him. Gracious guy. Answered a few questions but not before he offered to buy it back. I had to break the news to him that his little beauty was not going to come back together under that old VIN.
Still, I learned a ton and was able to piece some information together.
Just thought I would share.
