JFK jr., aka John-John, almost killed himself on one of those. He had a serious accident as well, breaking multiple bones and shattering his leg/foot. I suppose it was sign of things to come. . .

I assume those contraptions do not possess the ability to glide if the engine cuts out?!?

i read that the guy did all the pre-flight check...except for fuel...and actually DID run outta gas
