The wife bought this movie because of the packaging......(That's the wife for ya) Anyhow, has anybody here seen it? What a crazy movie! It's a horror w/ a great plot twist......

Meh, it was ok... didn't live up to the hype unfortunately.

I wish there were truly scarey movies out these days but I'd say the last "scarey" movie that freaked me out was Sixth Sense :frown:

Ditto, good but not unreal. 6th sense was freaky and so are the "ring" movies. Check out the second in theatres now

It was nice to see something different....not so predictable. It's interesting how even though what he did was messed up...it made you think about what you take for granted in life. For instance, the girl who did drugs. She came out of it with a much better understanding of her life. It's too bad it takes such a dramatic experience to trigger something.....

True, there really hasn't been a good scary movie made in a long time. I think the scariest movie I've ever seen is actually a Disney movie called Watcher In The Woods. I was about 12 when I saw it. Scared the hell out of me!

I thought Saw was a waste of money. If I could un-watch it I would.

I don't think you can do that. If you already saw Saw, you can't unsee Saw.

That's funny. "un-watch." Kinda like making your girlfriend "un-pregnant?"

Some things in life you just can't undo.

whoa [/keanu]

Danny Glover seemed kinda out of place to me for that movie IMO. Next time just shoot the guy when you surprise him in his own lair! So frustrating!!

I agree. I wouldn't have killed the bad guy, just shot him in the balls or something to prevent any sneaky get away tactics. But Hollywood just loves holes in the plot to let the bad guy get away and kill again.

***SPOILER ALERT***

but...

****** spoiler alert ********

they would have killed the wrong guy if he did that, from what I remember. That guy was just another victim carrying out the sickos demands.

Or maybe I misunderstood the film. Been a while since I've seen it.

Not sure, but I'm pretty sure that was the actual killer. I mean he had the evil doll on the bench, and all that elaborate stuff to kill the cops if and when they broke in.

And House of 1000 Corpses is probably the most recent scary movie that got to me.

Rob Zombie is the man! He lost a ton of money on that movie and it almost never saw the light of day. Nobody wanted it.

Yeah but that movie definitely freaked me out! Left it open for a sequel too. Considering the amount of money flushed down the drain however on the first House of 1000 Corpses a sequel seems to be a pretty fictious thought.

Actually, I a sequel is currently in the making to 1000 Corpses. I never saw it. I'll have to check it out.

Wow. That really surprises me. Well when you watch the first one prepare yourself for some really sadistic carnage and gore. Some parts are pretty unnerving, others are actually pretty funny.
