Stella was helping me work on the car today. I snapped this shot right before she started it up to check for good oil pressure. Other than burying tools and misc. parts/nuts/bolts/washers in the yard, she’s a lot of help!
Yes, that's Stella in the above picture (helping with NSX-R front brace install). She’s a golden retriever and the NSX is a ’92 Silver.
Here’s a shot of her sniffing for exhaust leaks, moments later, when we were draining the hot transmission oil, she tried to test its chemical composition (to determine snap ring status I’m sure). Unfortunately, she was not able to ascertain a good sample as a bird landed in the driveway and she was forced to defend the NSX.
Nick, although I haven’t let her drive it yet, I think the pedals will be perfect for paw and paw…come to think of it, I might need to install a supercharger to make up for fact the she will be shifting with her mouth, which is slow—I wonder if my wife will go for that?
Wow DanO, Stella is a smart dog, her engineering mind would come in handy.
No wonder dog's are a man's best friend.
Hope you post more photos of Stella in the future.... she's cute, your commentary is entertaining (hehe... protecting the NSX from a bird ) and this thread is a nice variation to the usual NSX photos.
