After an extended stay at the body shop, I received my car back today. The car was disassembled and painted with Sickens Black (The original color) from bumper to bumper. Complete paintjobs are a chore! The car was apart for about two months. I added the WW side skirts and rears. I LOVE the new look. We meshed the side vents and re-meshed the WW skirts to match.

I picked the car up Friday. It really does look like a brand new car. I had just completed new brakes/calipers/pads prior to the trip to the body shop. I just need to save up for some HRE or IForged wheels/ install my Nav system and I am done (For now!)

Saturday morning we put some finishing detail touches on the NSX and took her out to PIR for the Import drags. We went to check out the show, and did not make it through the gate without 20 people walking over to check it out. The event coordinator asked me if I wanted to park it in the show area for free. It was a huge compliment, so I did.

It was a fun day. I love sharing the car with people who are interested in the NSX.

We left and took the long way home. Man, I forgot what 8k sounds like ripping through the Comptech Exhaust. Amazing! It never fails to bring my pulse alive. I clicked into sixth-gear and blasted all the way to Astoria, where we stayed at a Bed and Breakfast.

The morning drive home was incredible. NW roads can not be beat in the summer.

When I got home, there was an accepted offer sitting on my FAX for our new home. My Fiance' and I have been in an apartment for over a year looking for a home. What a great feeling! And just in time to garage my new paintjob!

I checked my answering machine and my best friend Kevin from high school who is fighting Lymphoma was released from the hospital after successfully receiving his Bone Marrow transplant. He will be at home for the next six months, but he is elated to be released from the hospital.

I am so happy to have the car back, and am truly grateful to be able to own the car. I can not wait to get back into the NSX community. We are putting together plans for NSXPO in October.

I will post pics of the car in the Monday.

Wow! Sounds like you had a great weekend. Well, how about this? To celebrate, why don't you and Kevin taking turns hitting 8k rpms? Hell, that will get his juices flowing and get those bone marrows thingies to take root!
