So I purchased a new set of Koni shocks I’m in the process of replacing and was wondering if it’s worth getting all new rubber bushings. The new shocks didn’t come with any new parts. Is it worth replacing the rubber parts or should I just put it back together and not worry about it? They don’t seem rotted or out of shape but the car is a 92 so they are older.

FWIW I had ordered new rubber bushings while installing my new JRZ suspension with OE top hats. I think they were approx. $8-9 ea. F/R. When the new parts arrived, I noticed that the old ones clearly looked much compressed and not 100% same shape as the new ones. I checked again & the new part numbers were correct. May be they got compressed over time and/or the used OEM 91 suspension I had bought was overused/abused, not really sure. But I'm glad I bought new ones and never had any problems with them. I may have those pics somewhere and will update later if I can find so that you can see & compare.
