Then these are after the front and rear conversions, and a ton of other mods. Went through about 20-25 sets of wheels in the 5yrs or so I've had the car.

And heres it currently, full championship white color change with black 01 leather... I was at the point where I was going to sell it and do another, but I had just did a motor rebuild, new trans, new clutch, suspension, brakes, f+r 02 conversions, exhaust, intake, 01 black interior, and the list goes on and on so I decided to respray my MP to CW.

damn thats a lot of different wheels.... 02 conv looks great... I'm still in shock over the fact you did a color change!

It still looks good man. Not many pics of 02 MP's... thx

Is there anyway you can take a couple of pics with the top off? I'm wondering how it will look with the black top and all.. White is the best btw..

yep np at all... I'll snap a few in the next couple days when I take the car out. It'll be wierd to pull the top off... the last time I did I think it had to have been like 3-4months :frown:

+1!!!!

haha someday it *could* end up midnight pearl again, I guess time will tell!! I had worked at a body shop 8yrs previously and have done all the work myself to it throughout the years

The problem with purple colors is they look good after you've been around too many black/red/white nsx's, and start look for something different. Enthusiasts start to like the color, but initial reactions are usually "oh, that's purple" - I remember when I was first shopping for an E36 BMW M3, I found the perfect car, at a great price, but couldn't get around the fact that it was daytona violet. Years later, I was looking for purple as one of my primary choices, after owning black, red, and yellow cars.

Now, with the nsx-r scheme, it looks good for both enthusiasts, and first timers

yea thats true... but like most pearlescent colors, you have to see it in person to really see the true colors.

Your car turned out really nice, but I like the rare Mid Purple Pearl, Plum Crazy Purple.

I see a tint of purple is starting to show though the white in the pics. :biggrin:J/K.

If your going to be a R-type replica, go all the way and get the 02 OEM R-type white rims. Makes the car look sharp.

Was the engine compartment and front compartment resprayed?

I was wondering the same thing......

It still gives me shivers thinking about it.

Everything but the actual engine bay was sprayed... but the upper bay area (glass area etc was sprayed with all the hatch glass etc off the car).

I guess there's still hope someday to go back... lol. The front bay, jams, entire trunk area, etc etc etc was all sprayed.

and thanks for all the positive comments, I've got about 4yrs into this car and have done all modifications myself... Started at the age of 20 and I'm 24 now

I worked in a body shop for approx 9yrs in the past through high school and college and started spraying about 5yrs ago.
