Was at the Shelby Club Track Day last weekend ar RA and finally got my nephew out for a ride for a full session. He loved it but really loved his favorite car (besides mine) passing me between 6-7..Man those X50's are fast  Besides being 100 degree heat index the car ran cool and perfect all day.

True John...I also like turn 1 with the extra pavement I seemed to be using it a lot more now that it's there. I was also at the race and man those ALMS guys can drive they use all the rumble strips and extra pavement dang near every turn.

Made it look easy! Nice driving - you must know the track. How many times have you tracked your car?

I'm planning on going to a DE event at Road Atlanta with the PCA. I'm still a member and have been wanting to drive my 91 Sebring on a track. I'm sure the instructors will show me what to do - probably not allow me over a certain speed which is fine. I'd just like to get out and see what it's like to have no stop lights, no other slow pokes, mini vans, whatever in the way and everyone going the same direction!

Gotta sign up today! Looks like a lot of fun.
