Billy teaching me to be a better driver.
Its long, but worth the watch, especially when Billy leans over to tell me what and why he's doing at speed 2 or 3 times, LOL. So easy to see why he is a professional race car driver.

Then, with his guidance over 2 days of talks about theory, dynamic's, car control, slip angles and driving, there's no doubt what he teaches me as I go through laps driving the first couple of laps vs the last couple of laps putting it all to practice, all the while putting his life in my hands by sitting next to me

Thank you Billy. As always, I love you my brother.
See you again soon....!

Like the new Track Lance. Flows very well, long straights, fast sweeping turns and technical.
Looking forward to running it again.

Thanks for posting, and thanks on your behalf to Billy for offering to get in the right (and left!) seat. It was really hard to hear what Billy said. Can you summarize? I think he mentioned a couple of times where you could have tightened up the line.

Also, consider getting a Nady motorcycle helmet-to-helmet communicator, such as this one:

if you anticipate riding with someone or having passengers. Well worth the $50-60.

My pleasure.

We were discussing slip angles, lines, car movement/control, tire pressures, and acceleration points. Much of which we already discussed.
In the car was reminders.
Yes, we both have headsets but we were deep into testing various cars and setups and didn't use them.

Billy is a great teacher and driver, no doubt about it.
If ever given the opportunity, its a must to get behind the wheel with Billy.
He's a true professional and gentleman on and off the track.

Thank for the kind words Jim :)

Lance - I think I like the new track more than the old one. More "Traditional" and less busy and awkward. However, the new section with the old track's sweeping Turn 1 would probably be the best config, or adding just the outer loop of the old track.

Cool! Wish I could have been there! Coz, I know your car is in NASA TTU, and mine is in TTB here in Midwest....it would be a dream come true to have a track weekend to develop my car-trying different springs so could finally feel the difference in higher vs lower rates as well as spring rate bias front to rear would be the first thing I'd like to try. Having both you guys there to consult would be a gift! As always, envious of you west coast guys!

Wish you were out this well as well !

Please don't laugh.
I would rate my self as a rookie, my NSX although has CTSC I really bought to scratch an itch. NSX will probably never see track time too scared to hurt her. I did build a miata with a Sr20det in the engine bay built for drags, I want to do more then just go in a straight line so I had the suspension reconfigured and taken miata to a few time trials and did very well. I need to learn the science behind racing. As of now I just know keep the pedal to the metal, then a turn comes and I brake pedal to the metal, and there goes the race lol I'm probably exaggerating, but like I said I really want to learn the science such as, Lines, braking zone, enter speeds, exit speeds, car limits.
