Should have posted this a week ago, but hopefully most every will see it still.

- Group Photo for the cars. Let's keep our eyes open for a likely location where we can coral our cars in a circle or grid or some other compact formation and get some nice high quality pictures. Someplace where the photographer could get elevation on the cars would be great. We've got at least a couple talented photographers coming, probably more. Good idea?

- Video project. This is something I'm going to do and if someone(s) want to join in and contribute, it'll be even better. I have been playing with a time lapse video app for my phone. For reference, see this video I made a couple weeks ago. http://vimeo.com/32021525

I'm going to do another one this weekend, but use a bunch of hand-held footage as well as the window mounted stuff. I'll edit it together when I get home and pick a song and I think it might be pretty nice.

So, I'd love it if I had additional camera footage to use. You would need a phone with a decent camera and an app that does time lapse photography. I am shooting at 1 picture per second at 1280x960 resolution (landscape) then rendered at 6 frames per second in the same resolution. I can probably work with about any output file format.

I am using an app called "iTimeLapse". It costs a couple bucks, works on both my iPhone 4 and my wife's iPhone 3gs. There are surely Android apps, but I have no experience there. I do have a spare window mount if anyone wants to play and needs one. Just let me know.

Anyway, those are my late ideas. If neither happens, it'll still be fun. See y'all tomorrow!

+1 for Group Photo

+1 for Video Project

A possible idea for the video project.
Have the cars lined up in a queue. Start with the first car.
Take a 360 walking video around the car. First car is done, move second car into the same spot the first car was in.
Repeat.
Cut it together.

Or something like that?

there is a honda dealer " headquarter honda " in clermont. maybe someone can call and ask if we could use their parking lot for the photo. the owner's name is geronimo.
