Does anyone knows this phenomenen? When I turn my key to shut the engine down, my Airco Blower turns on high.

Several times it turned out that I couldn't start the engine because of low battery. Or worse, my alarm goes off, because of low battery.

Could this be electrical ground problem?

Please help me.

Gerard

I'm not sure if this helps, but I recently found out that my car wouldn't start because the battery. I thought I needed a new one because I tried trickle charging it over and over but still the same no start after a couple of days. I was advised to check the water level and sure enough it was pretty empty, so I just poured some distilled water and trickle charged the battery- Now it doesn't have any problems with not starting even after storing over 2 weeks with the alarm active.

Hi Biaggi,

Thanks for your reply.
My battery dies because my A/C Blower sucks it down. I don't think the problem is with my battery, but something is turning my blower on. It only does if I switch off the engine.

Check the blower motor relay in the under-hood relay box A. The box is located under the hood, passenger side, next to the fuse box, on the firewall, above the spare. remove the top of the box that is shaped like a double thick VCR tape. There are two rows of relays. On the front row there should be 5 relays all the same size. The fifth relay on the right end, closest to the driver's side is the blower motor relay that could be bad.

I have to agree with VincentVtec. I have worked on a CRX and an Accord with the same problem. The corrective action was to replace the Ignition switch wiring harness. The Plastic housing with the contacts inside get corroded and will in time short one of the wires in the harness. I understand the NSX is not your run of the mill Honda, but the problem sounds the same. Good Luck!
