I'm in the process of finding an NSX. Does anybody know the details of the differences between the 97-99 manual transmission and the 2k model? What were the specific upgrades? Also, what are the specifics on the 100k no tune up on the 2k models? I'm trying to figure out if it's worth it for me to spend 5-10k more to get a 2k model.

Not much changes between the 1997 - 2000 models. They have the same engine and transmission.

Other than the color changes, I think the leather change would be the only noticable item. I like the look of the Gathered leather, but I think the Perforated is very nice.

The difference in price should be around $5K, not $10K. The car differences between the 1999 and the 2000 are very, very minor. The only real difference is that a 2000 is still under warranty (if it has less than 50K miles), whereas a 1999 will probably not be. Is that worth paying an extra $5K in price for? Your money, your decision.
