This car was my daily driver for three years but I have a new project in the garage that I need to make room for.
Car runs great, looks good. Has some nicks and scratches but the first thing anyone ever says is it looks great for a 95.
The car was a theft recovery many years ago in New York, I don't know when. The VIN tag had been removed from the window so New York issued a new VIN for the car. The VIN JH4NA1185ST000136 is stamped on the frame, and on the door sill but still New York saw it wise to issue a new VIN so the title has the VIN NY58692 like on the yellow sticker on the door sill next to the original VIN. Also some time in the cars history it has been hit in the front. The previous owner told me it had been in an accident but I don't know if it happened while he owned it.
So now let's get to the good stuff. This car runs great, I have put a lot of TLC into maintaining it. I do all of my own maintenance on all of my cars, that way I know it's done right. Since I have had the car I have replaced the following:
ABS unit, Main relay, A/C Condensor fans, Timing belt, Water pump, Thermostat, water hoses, spark plugs, had the electric power steering control unit rebuilt, the climate control unit rebuilt, both of which are common to have done on these cars. New brakes, rotors, tires with approximately 60% remaining on the tires and brake pads. Complete brake bleed. New clutch master and slave cylinders. Updated rear tail lights to 2002, updated rear lower valence, aftermarket headers and exhaust.
In the three and a half years I have owned the car I have spent one year in Iraq. The car runs strong and I would not be afraid to let me mom drive it across the country. Been a very reliable vehicle. You get a supercar listed as one of the top 100 cars you must drive with Honda quality and great gas mileage, I average 26 MPG.
