I've had this car for sale for 9 months, and after 5 deposits and every buyer turning up to be a dead beat, I have had it. My next car will be an NSX, so it would be nice if someone was looking for a brute power, extremely reliable Supra.
My car is a 97 Toyota Supra 6 speed in Royal Sapphire Pearl which is the most desired color. This car has run every day for the past 2 years (no mechanical downtime outside of a clutch change and basic maintenance!). This car can be daily driven-- I will drive this car across the 110 degree Arizona desert between Phoenix and Tucson without a second thought.
A few weeks ago the car dynoed 767 RWHP at a very low 25.5 PSI. This car could go into the 900s if pushed. However, this car is more at home on the road race course than drag strip with Tein suspension and sway bars. There's a perception that the Supra is a poor handler which is very far from the truth. The Supra has a terrible feel, especially for beginners, and until one is very used to the car is difficult to drive at the limit. But don't let the lack of feel let you think it can't take a corner! It's beaten many Vipers, 996TTs, etc with good drivers.
