    Caveat Emptor!

'94 window regulator slides

I had the same problem on my '94. I ended up making my own out of a plastic called Acetal (Delrin). It took me about an hour on a mill to make them. I think they're stronger than the original nylon(?) ones. You should be able to have any machine shop make them for you if you give them the window regualtor so they can make the parts to fit.

Aloha,

Thanks Steve, Thats pretty much what I did. I found some body clips in the parts room of my shop from a BMW. It had the basic shape I just had to use a dremmel to cut it down and notch it just so. Made 4 of them. Also there are 2 rubber stops on the slide that I cut and formed from toyota engine cam plugs. The whole gig including R&R door panel took about an hour and a half. If I had to do it again now I could probably do it in half that. BTW I'm a foreign car tech/ shop owner. Have cool tools at my disposal.
