92 ECU PART NUMBERS/COMPATABILITY

Hey - starting to get my ducks in a row to put my 3.2 buld into my 92, and while i understand that i won't "need" to mod the ECU that i may "want" to based on others work here thus my desire to pick up another ECU to have a backup. OE 3.0 ECU part # is 37820-PR7-A04. Acura parts warehouse shows as replacement 37820-PR7-A13 and ebay is showing capatability with some Integra and even RDX units. While i likely won't go there on the ebay stuff, i am wondering about the differences if any from the A04 to the A13. Currently reading the informative existing ecu threads and thanks to Honcho for the tip to read "Engine Management Advanced Tuning by Greg Banish. It's just want i needed to get with the 90's tech he-he.

Any NSX ECU, auto or manual, from 91-94 will work for a 92. The differences between them amount to minor changes in the EPROM chip, and a resistor in the case of auto/manual. If you're swapping out the EPROM for a custom tuned chip or ROM emulator then it's a moot point and they are all the same.
