Hey everybody, I need some help. I have to use the NSX tomorrow. I used it 1 day ago for about a 250 mile trip, it ran fine. I go out to start it up and move it, now it wont fire at all. I don't understand how it could run perfect then all of a sudden just won't fire. When it's turning over maybe every 6 or 7 turns it makes a little different sound, but no fire. Any help is greatly appreciated. Thanks

Check the main fuel relay behind the driver's seat. Remove the panels and hit it with the screwdriver and try and start it. If that works, order a new relay and install it. Its about 50 bucks and 20 minutes worth of work.

Hey guys, I took off the panel behind the pass seat and hit everything back there.. It started up perfect.. You rock!! Thanks for the help. I guess I have to figure out exactly what part it is now. I would love to buy it from you if you have what I need.. Thanks, Send me a message.

You have a classic Main Relay failure. If you do a search on Prime for Main Relay you'll find several posts on the topic including links on how to fix it yourself with a soldering iron. If you decide you need to replace it, just use the link above to go the one I'm selling or you can get one from an Acura dealer for about $55.00. I suspect that if you use a rubber grommet to insulate the mounting bracket when you re-install, this problem will never happen again. It is vibration induced.

Just be sure to deal with this now. Replace or solder.
In my case the car ran fine to the airport and then no start at end on my trip. Banging on the relay did not work. Just because it worked this time doesn't mean it will work a second time.
