I got lucky in Dec 2002 and purchased this NSX from an extremely meticulous owner. I have tried to replicate the care he gave to the car. Extreme attention was given to the interior and exterior of the NSX-- hand-washed using only the finest car care products.
Car was never smoked in, raced, or tracked. This is a garaged weekend toy and was rarely even driven in the rain.
Not a salvage title, never been wrecked or painted either.
Car is located in Carlsbad, CA (near San Diego).
Reason for Sale
Must sell because my wife and I are expecting a baby in August—I need to get a car with room for a carseat! Otherwise, the X would be staying in my garage for a long time!
This car is in great condition for a 1991 vehicle—to the unpracticed eye it looks nearly new. The only real wear is the driver’s side seat bolster and minor rock chips.
Maintenance Rundown :
-Clean California title
-Dali window-fixit-thingies installed on both doors
-Battery is only 1 year old
-Previous owner did timing belt/ water pump service
-Not in snap ring range
-Serviced through local Acura dealers and NSX specialists at Applied Motorsports (Mark Basch’s protégé, Nick Eustice). All scheduled work is completed with records to match.
-Mobil 1 or Redline synthetic motor oil used every 3,500 miles or less. Clutch, brake, and transmission fluid replaced 3,000 miles ago.
-A/C works great and clutch does also.
Extras
-Modifications: Taitec GT Lightweight exhaust and Science of Speed alloy shift knob.
-Car includes original exhaust and shift knob.
-Aftermarket custom car cover
-Custom alarm system with motion sensors and pagers (can be defeated and reverts back to OEM system)
-OEM chrome wheels with OEM Yokos (75% tread left on front/ rear)
-CD changer and antenna work great.
-BOSE speakers rebuilt in Fall 2003. All capacitors were replaced and speakers work great now.
No problems to report—this car is solid. Make me an offer I can’t refuse!
