I cant believe it has come to this, but things change and I have decided to sell the NSX. After many years of ownership and forging many incredible friendships here on Prime, I really hate to do this. Although the car will be gone I will remain on the boards and hope to continue the friendships I have made and look forward to many more.
OK. About the car.
1991 NSX Red/Black JH4NA1157MT002916
Sparco Torino 2 Seats. Less than a year old and NO WEAR.
Sparco carbon fiber pedals
Sparco stearing wheel
Quick release Hub with Type R wheel ring
SOS center console with Panasonic CD player.
Alpine amp located behind the drivers seat.
iForged Flux 17/18 rims with new tires. about 600 miles on the tires.
perfectly lowered on HR springs
painted red calipers
Dali cross drilled rotors
Hawk brake pads
Zanardi floor mats
New clutch installed less than a year ago. (Sorry, didnt keep reciept, never thought Id be selling her)
HKS intake
SOS Polished coolant tank
Custom made 3 window engine cover
Flow master exhaust with custom piping
Comptech test pipes
( car sounds AWESOME!!! )
New window regulaters both sides. ( still a little slow, needs adjusting )
Snap Ring fixed in 2002 at Dealership
Clean title, not a salvage. I have the title in hand!
6000K HID kit. ( perfect kit, absolutly no issues )
New battery ( 2 months old )
And the big bonus........ 94 engine installed less than 4 mo. ago with aprox. 52xxx miles.
Engine bought from and installed by Brad of Autologic here in Houston. Brad is the owner of Autologic inc. and the premiere NSX tech in these parts. The engine runs perfect and pulls hard. This engine was his before it was mine and the timing belt and water pump/ valve adjustment were done right before install into my car. Engine is tuned to run perfectly at idle and wide open throttle.
Issues with this car:
The ac does not work. Everything has been replaced except the expansion valve. The dealer said this would fix it and quoted me a price of $519. The compressor, dryers, condensors were all replaced at the dealership. I ran out of funds due to paying for my wedding and have never went back to complete the job.
The paint on the car shines like no other. (ask some of the Houston crowd) but there are a few rock chips on the front bumper cover. There is a small scratch on the rear pass. quarter panel that has been touched up by a body shop, close to the lower bumper. Only noticable when pointed out.
The horn will need to be rewired due to the new stearing wheel. A stereo shop can handle this, I however can not.
The struts on the engine glass and the trunk will need to be replaced or recharged.
This car is a head turner for sure. Ive enjoyed it to the fullest and really regret that I have to sell her.
