Pre-production and prototype versions of cars are usually destroyed; in a few cases, they are kept in the manufacturer's museum.  They are hardly ever sold to private parties, although there are a few - VERY few - exceptions.




Not true.  The rigidity was added to the 1995 model, not to the 1994 model.


Incidentally, the link you posted was to a woefully out-of-date copy of the FAQ, that should not be used.  (Those who are interested in the background regarding that site can click here.)
