If your talking about the Ebay auction for that 91 NSX-T, it's a chop job. Honda never produced any targa versions of the NSX until the '95 model. It wasn't an option either as the poster so claims. I'd stay away from this car. It's structural rigidity has been compromised.
The only ones I have seen are converted coupes. I suppose one could do a decent job with enough cash, but for the most part I would expect them to be crap.
Honda must have made a few targas before they officially began production. Whether that occurred a few months or a few years before production is not something I am aware of. Those cars must exist somewhere, but I doubt they are currently for sale or even in this country. (Pure speculation, but informed speculation, I think )
I've heard of eairlier models being convertered to T top. I would say it can be done, but obiously the rigity of the car would not be the same as an '94. There are many aftermarket companies out there that would be willing to chop the top of your car to install either a sunroof or T top.
If I've got my information right....1994 Honda started bracing the bodies of regular coupes, and then from what was learned applied this to the official 1995 T Top.

Pre-production and prototype versions of cars are usually destroyed; in a few cases, they are kept in the manufacturer's museum. They are hardly ever sold to private parties, although there are a few - VERY few - exceptions.

Not true. The rigidity was added to the 1995 model, not to the 1994 model.
Incidentally, the link you posted was to a woefully out-of-date copy of the FAQ, that should not be used. (Those who are interested in the background regarding that site can click here.)
