The mount for my 91 NSX starter broke off. So I went to my dealer and found out that the starter cost about $500-600. Anyhow, I ended up ordering the part that was just broken for about $120.

I did some research on the internet for a starter and the aftermarket version didn't look to good.

The starter that looks like mine is only available for the '95 NSX and newer

Does anybody know if the '95 NSX starter works on a '91 NSX?

Thanks,

Definitely different part numbers and even some of the sub-assemblies are different numbers.
(earlier one at top)
Maybe someone like LarryB can comment on the interchangability however

With a little bias toward the cockpit; pull the driver's side rear wheel for a better view and access. Just had mine out, if you have any additional questions just ask.
