Hi all, I bought my 91 NSX this past September and all’s been great except for when the weather started getting cold the car developed a really bad erratic idle when I first start it up in the morning (or whenever the motor is cold). There are no check engine lights. I have noticed that the erratic idle has gotten worse over the course of the winter (starting it up every few weeks or so). I’ve been told that cleaning fast idle valve might help so I did that and after I did, the car didn’t even want to run. I finally got the car to fun but the idle upon startup is still bad. If I hold the throttle so that the rpms are at 1500 for about 10 seconds the car will idle perfectly after that. I have a new fast idle valve coming (part number 16500-PR7-A00) as well as a new main relay (have been told that may play a part in it). I’ve also cleaned the throttle body to the best of my ability. Just wondering what else I could look at while the new parts on their way.
