91 drives sunvisor gave out - what to replace it with?

My 91 drivers sunvisor with 206,000 miles on it gave on and now sits down at a slight angle just enough to hit me in the forehead when I reach forward or get out of the car. The stripe across my forehead is embarassing so I was wondering what people have done to replace this broken part.
I have the half-black unit or grey as most people would call it.
Both right and left units have cracked previously of course.
Thanks for any tips and part numbers.
I checked some threads but didn't find anything to help that was current.
I remember a old thread back in the day where someone rebuilt his from scratch.
I would probably just like a new part though.
Thanks for any and all help.
Regards

you gotta get that fixed. heres why

when I was 18 (35 now) my buddy got a new Honda Accord took me on a test
drive we were taking this corner to fast and just so happens that the side of the road had sand
all over the road, slid off the road and hit a tree at about 35-45 mph,
well the sunvisor was hanging about 2 inches from being fully up, well when we hit,
my head hit this Sunvisor and split my head open had to get 10 stitches in my
head were the hair line is. the Ambulance guys said if we were going any faster
the sunvisor would have cut the top of my head off,

best part of the story is he had just got groceries for his mom and the only thing
to stop the MASSIVE bleeding was a MAXI-PAD that was part of his moms grocery list.

the Ambulance guys were laughing said they had never seen that before.

so get it fixed, knock on wood you never have to go thru what i did. but still get it fixed.

Hey Trev! I could have sworn that I had seen this fix somewhere on this site, but it might have been recovering/fixing the visor, which I think involves sniffing a lot of glue to think that it looks better than a replacement.
Are you sure that getting smacked in the head with the visor is not due to all the power you have in the car?
cheers,

Trev,
I replaced mine a year ago. You can have my old one. one small open seam about 1/2 inch.
Let me know.

Wow, all the good stuff going around - thanks guys.
Since Warren is a few minutes from me, I'll take a look at his drivers.
Joe, I'll let you know and thanks so much!
