My blower motor on my 91 has stopped completely.
I never had the high only problem that others have had.
This is my first.

I will check the fuse #28 - 30 amp in the front fuse box
I will check the fuse #4 - 15 amp under the drivers dash.
I see there are two relays in the front hood area in the Sub Relay Box A.
A Blower High Relay and a Blower Relay that are side by side.
I will have to check these, probably use one of the other relays in that Box.

Has anyone else had this same problem and what was the outcome?

Thanks

No but it is possible fan motor is bad if rest of the circuit components are in good condition, can you "hook" or connect a 12v to the fan motor to test it?

speaking of checking fuses..have you check the 2 10 or 15amp fuse for the blower themself under the hood? somehow those are notorious for blowing out..i remember reading thread from the past and people confirm that those 2 fuse like to go out..check those i guess.

Maybe your thinking about my post....check your fuses.....that post is for the a/c system prop fans in the front nose area that cools your refrigerant.
Thanks though.

I having the same problem first time since I have had the car lately. I sent the ac unit out to Brian K but I am still having the same issue with the blower.

I allready checked the fuse #28 - 30 amp in the front fuse box -

Where is the #4 fuse under the drivers dash?
Where are the 2 relays in the front of the hood? the blower high and a blower relay?

Page 1033 shows you the big fuse box up front with 28 - the 30 amp monster fuse.
Page 1035 shows you the small one under the drivers dash on the left side of the side of the side,....you know. turn the black knob on the door and it falls off and the fuses are there. Thats number 4, the 4th one....and when you pull that out, the hvac unit goes dead. so if you have lights on your hvac unit, that fuse is good.
There is a detailed step by step discription of how to trouble shoot the blower.
I will do it tonite...hopefully.....I started last nite and had to run out to but out flames on a break down.
With the key on and the hvac unit on manual, if I turn the blower from variable speed to high, when I reach Hi, I hear a click from the front relays.
That is a good thing!
Page 928 shows you the relays, side by side.

Are these pages like on a online manual for nsx? If so where do I look that up ? Those pages how do I access them? Are you also saying you are doing a write up on this issue? if so I can wait for that as well...

Um, are you serious? lol
You have been here since 2005 and you haven't downloaded the online manual.
Yes, it is here on nsxprime, you can find it and check out the pages in the pdf file.
I will fix my unit and post my results with photos if needed.
I always do this to help my online friends.
Til later
Trev out.

Got my Blower Motor working.
It seems it was just a corroded connection.
I followed the check list in the manual and last item was to undo the blower motor connection that is down behind the spare tire.
I did that and checked for power...it was there.
So I thought maybe my blower motor went....so went on to the next step and applied power to the blower leads from the battery that is sitting right close and the motor runs instantly.
I cleaned the connector I had just taken apart, plugged it together and away I go.
18 years and 205,000 km puts a lot on parts!
baynsac - I would turn on my ignition and set your heater to blow, pull the blower motor relay and gently set it back into the socket. If you here are click then you know you have power there and the relay has close and your then should have power down below at the connection I'm talking about with two big wires that comes from your blower motor.
I would post pics, but somehow I am 50 meg over my account status and don't know what to do to rectify this. How can I be 50 meg over???
Why wasn't I stopped 1 meg over?
p.m. with your email if you want help and pics.
