Been talking with Track Addict about his 6 spd for sale and he will likely school me, but he is out of the country so i'd like to get my ducks in a row. I understand about the need for the R input shaft to run the twin disc's so i'm fine there (staying NA so i like that clutch), but i'm not totally understanding about getting the R 4.23 ring and pinion into the 6 spd. I currently have the R R&P in my 5 speed. I read here that i will need to put my old diff into the 6 spd? Does that mean my 5 spd R R&P will fit the 6 spd or would i need to get a different R set for the 6 spd? My 5 spd diff is done "old school" by adding another shim and this time will likely use an actual R shim kit, but to repeat it's the R&P situation i'm confused about. Thanks!
