I don't know if Cam Parsons's NSX has been discussed here before, but just in case, check out this article on Dali Racing's website.

That's an old article. I think Cameron sold that car last year. And, the 550 hp number is a guess at the crank hp, not a measured rwhp number.

Here's what Mark J (NSXGOD on these forums) said in his notification about the upcoming track event in Nevada:
"Cameron Parsons, builder/driver of the worlds first (and as far as I can tell; ONLY) "Road Warrior" 550RWHP (at least) Twin Turbo NSX will be there too. CP is dusting off his chariot and preparing to do battle with the new guys! He is a gentleman until he gets behind the wheel - but then? better get out the mops as it can get messy! AVO told me it was just under 550 hp at the crank, and a 12.1 in the 1/4 mile would indicate less hp than that. But, it sounds like he has done some work since then. Since he is not even trying to keep it street legal, I would think 700 hp + at the crank would not be difficult at all.

As of August 2003 the car was only making 404 rwhp, If you read the article he is running a completly stock motor and ECU with an added injector, he is also only running 9lbs of boost.
Seems to me I saw that reference to the track event on the Dali site long ago, so it's not the proposed shootout in Vegas.
