550 RWHP NSX

Could be; I just passed it along.

Here's what Mark J (NSXGOD on these forums) said in his notification about the upcoming track event in Nevada:

"Cameron Parsons, builder/driver of the worlds first (and as far as I can tell; ONLY) "Road Warrior" 550RWHP (at least) Twin Turbo NSX will be there too. CP is dusting off his chariot and preparing to do battle with the new guys! He is a gentleman until he gets behind the wheel - but then? better get out the mops as it can get messy! Info on his car can be seen here:
http://www.daliracing.com/v666-5/download/nsx-tt-review.pdf

it has only gotten FASTER since the article was written - has made several secret updates to the car...."

AVO told me it was just under 550 hp at the crank, and a 12.1 in the 1/4 mile would indicate less hp than that. But, it sounds like he has done some work since then. Since he is not even trying to keep it street legal, I would think 700 hp + at the crank would not be difficult at all.

Seems to me I saw that reference to the track event on the Dali site long ago, so it's not the proposed shootout in Vegas.
Perhaps you didn't notice that the above was posted over a year and a half ago? ;)

That's funny! I didn't pick up on that as I read through. In retrospect, the post from David should have been a tipoff seeing that he no longer participates here.
