nsxlr8, The oil tank you see at the back of the car is to catch the oil out of the turbo before it gets scavenged by the Tilton pump and pushed threw an oil cooler mounted in the best place possible to receive cold air, on turbo motors the turbo usualy gravity feeds back to the pan, not possible on the NSX unless you mount the turbo on top of the motor. The intercooler does get some of the hot air from the motor, however as soon as the car gets moving that no longer a problem, also under heavy boost loads the MAT only gets around 40-50 degrees C, but at freeway speeds the MAT is only around 15-25 degrees, never the less their is NO TURBO LAG AT ALL, but their is a lot of useable hp at your foot all the time. The ignition was changed for a good reason, the stock ECU might work if you can change everthing about it, the Tech-2 offers all your engine management at the touch of a lap top, and has play back so that you can drive the car under different conditions and see what everthing was doing at that time, you can record your pass down the 1/4 mile review it on the lap top and make any adjustments that you may need, also the Tech has twice the fire power than the stock ECU so under heavy boost it will still fire the plugs, it's also a crank triggered ignition so thier is NO spark scatter.
