I have a 1991 5-Spd tranny with 25k miles that I used MT-90 Redline trans fluid in, and that also has PERFECT synchros. It is NOT in snap ring, and shifts perfectly. HOWEVER, The trans housing where the shift fork bolts to the housing has a bolt mount that broke. You would need to replace that half of the trans housing. Other than that, the trans is cherry. I bought a new 6-Spd trans to replace it instead of fixing it. I didn't want to go through the hassle. If you do or if you can get it done easily, I will sell the trans to you as it is just sitting.
