Lap harnesses ? I don't understand this term in english.

To attach the harnesses to the bar, I robbed them around the bar as told in the "user manual" of the harnesses. Don't do it the way you think it's right. If you really don't find how to do it, pm me and I can scan you the explanation schemes.

no i meant how did you attach the harness that wraps around your waist/legs

Asylum:
From the photo of your wrap-around belts. I don't think you did that right.
Please look at the installation instructions that came with your Sparco belts.
If you didn't get any instructions , email me and I'll scan and e-mail you the proper buckle weaving method.

Eye bolts in place of the stock belt bolts, keeping the stock belts. The problem is that there is not a lot of place and it happens, depending on the eye bolts, that you have difficulties to move the seat for- and backwards.

hey asylum, if it's not too much trouble, could you please take a picture of the eyebolt mounted to the seat belt bolts...

thanks

thanks for the pics asylum, i have some questions for you
how did you manage to slide the belts through the head rest, last time i remember there was a leather strap in the way under the head rest of the seat, if you dont understand I can take a picture...

where did you get the eye bolts from?

and what is the thread pitch for all 4?

all i see from the service manual is
7/16-20 UNF

thanks
Greg

I understand. If you pull it, you can take this leateher strap of (in fact, it his attached to head rest but not to the seat... what the use of it ?!?!?) and cut it or move it away.

They come with the harnesses. Not to worry about, it's universal.

Don't understand what you mean in english :frown: Perhaps if you explain...

each bolt has a thread pitch, i was wondering what is the proper size pitch needed to bolt into the seatbelt anchors

It's universal so don't worry about this. But, as there is not much place in width (seat close to the door and central console), I had to cut 5 mm of the bolt screw. Difficult to explain : if the bolt is to long, it go out of the seatbelt anchors at the other side (seat rail). As there is not much place in width, the eye bolt scraps the carpet (both side) and bend the seatbelt anchor next to the seat and the slidding rail. The eyes bolts scrap the carpet and the seat rail. That's why I had to cut them.

all you really need w/o compromise...

For safety harness lap-belt mounting to OEM belt mount-points...
(in-case your 4/5/6 point safety harness didn't include the hardware, or you're converting wrap'around belts)

For actual harness-bar & mounting points for it on the B-pillar, I'll hopefully have something 'neat' to post in a week or so (ie. 'special' harness-bar and 'neat' mount/installation)
