Hi,

Looking for the part# for the wire harness to connect the 3rd brake light to the main harness.
The sum of all my searches has come up with this possibility: 32106-SL0-000 but I'm not that confident.

Or would you bother and just make one up? Are the connectors available separately or on other Honda's \ Acura's?

Thanks,

Simon.

Thanks Larry.

Now I have received the light from the previous owner, I have found that I will have to hard wire anyway as the plug on the light has been chopped off...

A question I should have asked initially is whether there will actually be a plug in my loom already (1993 car) or will I have to splice it? If I do, where is the ideal place for this?

The wire runs through the truck lid and goes down by the trunk hinge on the drivers side. The original connector is located in about that area in the engine bay (above the black "Control Box" just behind the intake bellow):).

...another question...

Is it possible to install the light without removing the complete rear spoiler, i.e. with stubby screwdrivers? Also, any tips to getting the plastic caps off without damaging them?

....answering my own question after looking at the car...No!

Found the plug in the engine bay where Larry correctly told me it would be. Cheers. It would be uber handy if I could get the male half of that plug from somewhere, another Honda perhaps? Anyone got any bright ideas?

Just need to know the correct routing of the cable after it exits the trunk lid...want to make it look like OEM rather than a bodge up!
Anyone got a close up photo of that area they could post?

Thanks again...

The two pin connectors are used in many Honda's for all sorts of things. A trip to the junk yard may be in order:D

No luck at the junk yard but had a result when I installed the light today.

The plug in the harness has both male and female sides already. I presume Honda put the female side of the plug in there to stop water ingress.

Anyway, easy job fitting the wires into the plug and making it look good.

Thanks all....
