Anyone know who does the 3M (or similar) clear film protector that you can put on the front of the hood, fenders, etc. to prevent stone chips? Anyone done it and have feedback - thinking of putting it on my MDX, and perhaps NSX if it works well.

Thanks

Hey I'm actually going to be doing the same on my new 02 conversion front end. I know 3M does make a pre cut out kit for the car I also found a few tint places can custom install a protective film as well. Try some of the local tint places for the film + install.

Thanks, I found someone in Scarborough, but that's too far to drive so I'll contact the 3M dealer in Mississauga.

I had clearbra done on three cars I owned, 98 A4, 05 TL, and just had the NSX done last week.

I also installed it myself once. I strongly recommend letting someone else do it as it's not easy to get that decently installed.

The clearbra is almost invisible in colors like black or silver. But it might shows up a little yellow if installed on white car.

Also make sure you don't have a lot of existing chips, as the clearbra will magnify them.

The Porsche and Ferrari guys use this guy. He did my GT3 and it's fantastic. He comes to your house and is super professional and warranties the work.

If you get your front nose painted how long do you have to wait before the clear bra is put on? Anyone.

Same here... just did 02 conversion newly painted front nose my body guy said a couple weeks is enough I'm going on week 2 I'll probably wait a couple more just in case.
