3200 RPM vibration??

In the last 6 months my 1992 NSX with 68k miles has developed a vibration around 3200 RPM. The symptom is not too noticeable, but occurs independent of speed and gear. The engine is bone stock except for comptech headers and exhaust.

I had the motor mounts checked and retorqued, but it had no effect.

Any ideas on what this might be and what to do next?

Vibration in the seats/steering wheel/dash?

The vibration is felt in the seat. Not in the steering wheel.

The engine re-centering procedure is loosening the motor mounts, starting and revving the engine and then re-tightening mounts. Have you done that?

Thank you for the detail on the motor mount procedure. I will check with the mechanic who did the work to see that procedure he followed.
