Here are some more of my photos from the American LeMans Series 55th Annual Mobil 12 Hours of Sebring this past weekend.

This is our arrival at the track before the race. We had to be there EARLY to be staged and briefed before our parade lap on the track.

Our official parking stickers for the "NSX Corral"... sounds like a rodeo! Yee Haaaw!

One of several Honda/Acura executives who attended to commemorate the historic event. The President of Acura was also at the race and received the official green flag in a special ceremony.

On the track. I don't have too many photos 'cause I was driving!

So I found this engine sitting all by itself and started wondering... how can I fit this in my car... hmmm

Coming up next:

DOOR TO DOOR RACE ACTION!!!

First I must congratulate the Acura motorsports division and their FANTASTIC debut of the new LMP2 cars! They finished First, Second, and Fourth in their class!!! Second, third, and sixth overall!!! They beat all but one of the more powerful LMP1 cars!! Perhaps most impressive was that the lead Acura was able to keep up with the first place LMP1 car on the lead lap for most of the 12 hour race!

For those that aren't familiar with ALMS or LeMans style racing most of the events are ENDURANCE racing events with racing taking up to 24 full hours! They can cover over 3000 miles in a single race compared to 500 for Indycar, 600 for Nascar, and 200 for Formula 1. ALMS racing usually involves cars from several different classes competing on the track at the same time! So you'll see purpose built LMP cars on the track side by side with specially tuned Corvettes, Ferraris, Porsches, BMWs, and Aston Martins! LMP1 cars are the most expensive and have up to 700 horsepower and weigh as little as 2000 lbs. Acura is in the LMP2 class with up to 550hp and weigh 1700 lbs.

First Place LMP2 (2nd overall): Acura Andretti/Green Racing and drivers: Herta, Franchitti, and Kanaan!

Second Place LMP2 (3rd overall): Acura Lowe's Fernandez Racing and drivers: Fernandez and Diaz

Fourth Place LMP2 (6th overall): Acura Highcroft Racing and drivers: Brabham, Johanssen, and Dayton.

More race photos to come!!!

First place in GT2 in perhaps one of the most exciting finishes in GT racing history! Risi Competizione's Ferrari F430 wins over the Flying Lizard Porsche. Only 0.20 seconds separated the two cars after 12 full hours of racing!!! I believe it was Ferrari's first GT2 win at Sebring!

The No 62 Risi Competizione's Ferrari F430 and drivers Salo, Melo, and Mowlem

awesome pictures ! more of the engine and hotties please :)

Great pics! I don't know if you saw the coverage on Speed, but there were a couple seconds of the corrals. The NSX corral got some air time, and there was one long shot of a little red-headed kid dancing around the back end of one of the NSXs. Anyone you know?

nice pics !!!! got anymore i think i have seen these!

I have HUNDREDS more from Sebring! I still need to put together a webpage for them... but with thia Saturday's Festival of Speed, work, and other hobbies I haven't had the time!

No rest for the weary however since I already have several hundred more photos from the Festival this weekend and expect 500+ more from the upcoming ALMS and Indycar race in St. Pete next weekend!

What happen to the pics?, I can only see boxes with X in it?
