nice pictures... haha... based on the FIRST picture (before i scrolled down)... i thought someone was freaking bad ass enough to drift their NSX... i was like "whoah... money shot".... then started to scroll down...:wink:

For those of you that didn't make it, we had another perfect track day yesterday at the Streets of Willow. We had 16 NSXs there and a good number of people had enough track time after 3. Of course the track rats like UFO and his buddies stuck around until the track was closed.

Actually, that was Bernie driving my car (his first time in the NSX) - I was right behind him in his blue Hachi-Roku Corolla. This is turn 4, I think, right after the cones...
Earlier in the day, while I was following him through the bowl, he drifted the Corolla all the way through carrying all his speed and, I swear, was pulling away from me!!! :biggrin:
Pshychobiology...those are the Prodrive GC-07C's 17/18 (http://www.scienceofspeed.com/products/exterior_performance_products/NSX/Prodrive/)
Cdub...as usual, we all had a a great time: safe, sane, and fast! Thanks for organizing it! Hopefully we can do CCW next time!

I was looking at the second photo and didn't look like it was you. So it was Bernie the drifter. :biggrin: He was the only form of entertainment yesterday since he was drifting all the way into the front straight. I didn' get to see him drifting on the bowl, but I'd pay to see that. Apparently, it is not as easy to drift an NSX, hah?
I'll contact the track tomorrow to see what's available in Q4 of this year. Button Willow is pretty much booked and I'll find out some more about the Big Willow track and the Streets. If we are doing the Streets next time, we'd definitely be running CCW. :wink:

yes good looking wheels for sure...
Prodrive calls it Gunmetal, I think...it's a matte dark metallic, hides the brake dust quite handily.

Group A cars:
Since Jeff started this thread with Bernie's drifting, he gets the top spot on this post. He was entertaining us all day drifting through the track.
Bob's an ex-racer and a true gentlemen. I enjoy having you and you wife with us. What a nice couple! Here is Bob and Ryan and Garry duking it out.
Kember's Supra were swapping positions with the Lotus's all day long. A lot of fun to watch.
Craig debuted his new Lotus Exige at our track event. After some adjustments on the tire pressure, he was tearing up the track. In this photo, he's probably thinking how to over take all these cars in front of him.
How often do you run into a 1st owner of a 91 NSX? Well, Frank is one of those who belongs to this exclusive group of true NSX enthusiasts. Here is his CTSC Sebring silver.
Garry's not only fast, he is smooth as well. I rode in his car on both events and he really wrink out every bit of the EVO's capability. A very deserving owner of such special vehicle. He makes me want one myself.
John, I'm glad that you decide to run in the afternoon on street tires after you have corded your track tires.
Mark and Sam, our S2000 and EVO friends, nice to have you with us!

Lamar picked the track event over a Tahoe skiing trip. A true track rat.
Lance, a true track nut has been going to all the Dali and my events. The accusump is a prove of that. Thanks for driving all the way from Vegas! We started about the same year and he is way faster than me now.
Rod looked familiar when I met him. It turned out he was in our Hollywood autocross. Here he is breathing down John's neck.
Talking about John, how did you end up in group A? The B group was just too slow for him, now that he has suspension, tires to allow him to put his talent to work. Here is his "Type R" Integra trying to show Ryan who's the man. :biggrin:
Talking about Ryan, a very fast driver, he also instructed his wife. I tip my hat to you. You are a brave man! Jessica is very sweet though.
Sean's orange Elise stands out. I'm glad you can join us. We need more pure track cars like the Elises and Exiges to spice up the event. :wink:
Don't think you can under estimate Si's 2 tone Civic, he can walk away from you easily. :redface: It's not what kind of car you drive, but who's behind the wheel.
Terry in the Z6 Z06 was probably the fastest car there. He lapped me in 20 minutes on the last session. Here is David and Goliath.
Vittorio, were you trying to avoid the paparazzis? I was not able to find a shot of your white S2000.

Gil L., you made all that mods on your car proud. The Tubi, the Stoptech, the Technomagnesio, the quick release steering, the short shifter......
Gil. C, it is nice to have you join us. Please have your Honda track club join us again in the future.
Here is a special car. From talking to James, I learned that it was his sister's car. I met her at the 03 NSXPO. She passed away 8 months after the event from a auto accident. James honor his sister by mod'ing the car according to her taste. James is also the farthest driver that came all the way from the Bay area.
Ryan, Goward is going to flip out when he sees that you actually ran the car on the track after he babied it for years.
Here is yours truly with the Z06 just seconds away from me.

We were there also but the photographers were not around when we were on the track

Love that Brookland green! The lighting on the second pic shows off the depth of the paint really well.
