2nd Place at Hemmings

My car was selected for 2nd place in the Exotic category and the Hemmings Sports & Exotic Car Show at Saratoga Springs, NY over the weekend. We lost out to the selected 1st place winner, a 2008 Ferrari 430 Always a treat to get a little hardware with the NSX, especially when competing against the big boys Here's a pic from early in the Show before there were other people and cars around. It was not as well attended as in past years, due to the threatening weather (it never did rain, but was cloudy all day).

I want to say congrats Roy...

But you've gone soft. All the track days, the racing, the slick tires and trailers traded in for days at the park collecting trophies... what happened to you?

Is this going to be you and I soon arguing over a trophy talking about our glory days?

Yep, I guess I've gone soft ... well, not totally, as I still do some DEs in my BMW (e30 M3) a couple times a year.... and, I still auto-x a few times a year. But, as an official senior citizen now, I do enjoy a good Car Show, talking cars, and winning an occasional trophy ... and, I see the track days coming to an end!

Remember, I did 10 years of DEs and auto-x before you did your first!!
