222mph Standing Mile

I sat in that car and met the owner and builder, both great guys, car looked mint, better than factory work, real quality.

The owner wanted to sit in my NSX and loved the shifter. He was impressed but we know about that.

That is from the TX mile

I ran 242.423 this year.

The GT ran 222. A supra ran 229.

Lawnmower

68.323 MPH

Talk about big balls...I have never seen a lawnmower I wanted to drive that fast! Wonder if he still had the beer can holder??

Wow, can't believe all of the STI's running 180+ ! Also an EVO at 190!

400-450whp should be able to get an STI or evo fairly close to 180mph in the standing mile, in the quarter they are already at 125=130 or higher I'd imagine. 190 probably took some work, 550whp+ I'd bet.

24xmph on the busa is no joke Ben, especially in 1 mile. What does a stock busa run in the standing mile, 170-180 or so? I can't really tell from the picture, are you turbocharged or just running 6 gallons of nitrous a run?

Stock they run mid 170's. We are running RCC's custom ultra kit with a Garrett 42R turbo, air/water intercooler, stock primaries, 720cc piggybacks on a stock displacement block--built as tough as possible. Here's the dyno sheet on VP 120 air/race @ 42 psi.

The 242 mph was @ 37 psi. We're going to hope to crack into the 250's in the spring--maybe even 260
