Can anyone share experience between using 215/35/18 vs 225/35/18

I'll be mounting 18x7.5 +43 Volk face I GTC

Thanks

My personal opinon, go with the 215's. I have the 225/35/18's on my NSX and it rubs slightly. Plus, I think the 215 size will look better on the 7.5 inch wide rim. Again, just my opinion though..... ;)

I have 225 on my 8" rims - I would think the 215 would be btter match for the 7.5"
My 225/35/18 do not rub at all - they used to, but since I had alignment (caster was off on right side) they are now perfect- no rubbing at all. Car is lowered ~ 1".

I would go with the 225's. Will fill up the gap nicer if there is any. Plus a bit more meat on the sidewall. Depending on the tire sidewall & tread design you may rub or not.

222/35/18 is the way to go. I have 225/35/18 F and 285/30/18 R. Best set up IMO. I have Tein RA's on my 02 NSX and it is lowerd to the top of the front tire. I have no rub issues. I have had the same tire set up with both my SSR comp's and my Volk LE 37's both 7.5 inch F and 9.5 inch R wheels.

I reckon 215/35/18 W/ 18x7.5 its well match, thats what I used
