I learned a few new things from reading this dealer quality inspection procedure....

1. There's a keyhole for the trunk hidden near the bottom of the engine bay glass. This is the only way to open the trunk when the 12V battery is dead.

2. Both driver and passenger door handles automatically pop out when you approach the car. However it does not say what happens if you don't don't operate one of the handles. Will a handle that is not operated later automatically retract itself so it's once again flush against the car?

3. The door handles have a finger sensor that's only located in the center of the handle.

4. There's an actual dipstick for reading the engine oil level. (No electronic sensor nonsense like so many European cars these days.) The car even has a special "Oil Level Assist" mode that aids you in getting accurate level readings from the dry sump system.
