480 is peak HP, but with a hybrid system it would mean you have electric motors that give pretty much peak torque the instant you floor the pedal, rather than @ 8000RPMl. It might not win a top speed shootout, but could still be pretty quick between corners. Considering corvettes are pricing over $100k, if they come in anywhere close to $130k it'll be something. This time around, at least they won't have the stigma of being a foreign wannabe carmaker.
