I WAS interested in this car...but, no more! Here's what I know for any other potential suitors: Car is a one owner (lease) from Florida with 37k miles - Acura Certified. Smithtown bought it at auction June 2008 in the 60's and has been unable to sell it. They recently lowered the price to 49.9k.

Talked to the Internet Sales Manager, Anthony....he is the least motivated salesman I've ever seen. Taken days to get detailed pictures or information from him. Getting past all of that crap, he describes the car as "flawless" no dings, scratches, leather perfect, yada yada. Finally get the pictures today and I'm picking this thing apart left and right. The exterior of the car looks great, no curb rash, paint is pretty much perfect however there is a crease in the rear bumper just to the right of the plate. Interior is where I'm concerned as he told me the leather was "perfect". The driver's bolster has a huge gash or scratch (VERY noticeable), so when I call him on it, all I get is a bunch of excuses that he somehow missed it?? He didn't even give me a good picture of the bolster and it punched me in the face. Numerous carpet stains including one that looks like someone spilled something near the passenger seat near the belt buckle. Chip on the passenger inside door handle, chip near the shifter, stains on the driver's speaker, driver's footwell etc. I mean come on, the car has been in your dealer for 15 months and you can't atleast clean this up??

Do NOT buy the car sight unseen! A Prime member PM'd me that he drove this car early summer and it had some sort of steering issue. The sales guy told me the car drives perfect, but at this point I wouldn't trust him anyways.

If anyone wants the detailed pics shoot me a PM and I'll forward you the email, it's 13mb.

Danny

Not sure on the price...appears the dealer wants $49,999 + another $5,000?? Then you must finance the car thru the dealer. I believe it still holds true that the dealer gets up to 1-2% of the interest on the loan amount. So don't expect the loan interest rate to be very competitive. Regards....Andrew
