I've searched prime for about 45 minutes and still can't find what I'm looking for.. Seems like a common subject, yet I still can't find a post. I apologize if I didn't search hard enough.

I purchased the 2002 update kit from SOS and can't seem to figure out how to connect my new HID low beams. I was told that it comes with everything that I need, so does anyone know how to do it?

All parts are OEM by the way. The ballast seems to have a female plug but there is no male plug, how do you bring power to the ballast?? Which wires am I supposed to splice? Anyone with experience, please help because I'm completely clueless. Thank you very very very much!

hi Ken -- Per installation instructions, you need to use the 2-pin blue plug that is located on the front wire harness. This is used on the JDM/Euro/Canadian cars for fog lamps but is unusued for US cars. It is not hot. Remove this from harness and use to power the factory ballast. Give us a call if you need any help finding this. Supplied 9005 harness wires to existing factory harness. All other electronics reuse the factory existing plugs. Your ScienceofSpeed bracket kit should have arrived today as well. Let me know if you have not received this.

Chris,

My car is actually at my shop and I'm at home right now so I can't really find this blue plug you're talking about. So this plug connects directly into the ballast or is there some splicing that has to be done? If so, how do I connect it to the ballast? Sorry for being so clueless.. I remembered you said that there was a service manual I was supposed to look into for reference of the wires, do you have a link? Thanks Chris. I'll probably call you tomorrow when I try to hook everything up.

Thanks,
Ken

If you look down below the bumper mounting (preferably the bumper is taken off) you will find that blue plug.

hi Ken --

Service manual is on the NSXPrime.com homepage. Look on the left hand side. You may need to scroll down a bit. It's best to "save as" to your desktop. Give me a jingle if you need some help.

Cheers,
