Did you look at the pictures on Acura's website?

According to an ad in yesterday's Times, Rallye Acura on Long Island has three of the 2002 including a blue/blue.

Yes, I saw them, but those pictures on the web site are professional pictures with all the touch up. I would like to see natural (more real-life) photos.

Thank you for that Blue/Blue info.
I will try to contact the sales person over there.

Is it still possible to negotiate a price if the car is not in the local dealer where you are going to buy it (tranfering the car)?

There was Blue one here before but it was sold a week before I came to the local dealer.

Anyone around SF bay area own a Blue 2002 NSX?

The ad says that you can call or e-mail Brian Hackett at [email protected] or 516-625-7070.

In addition to the blue/blue, they have a yellow/onyx and a silver/onyx. All three are six-speeds.

Any dealer can look up new car inventory at all dealers in the country. As far as transferring, though, I think that's up to the two dealers to negotiate; I don't think any dealer is under any obligation to transfer it to any other dealer. Given that you would then have two different dealers looking to make money off the deal, you might be just as well off buying it directly from Rallye; just guessing here. Given that their ad is appearing in the national edition of the Times, they probably are accustomed to shipping cars nationwide.

Don't know if it's still there though.

Its on their web site. Maybe one of the few that posts whom have actually seen this color combo in person. Under indoor lights, the interior almost appears to look dark blue, not close to the exterior color at all. The owners son also had the same color combo, which was parked outside. Under sunlight the interior doesn't appear to lighten it much, if any. Won't be able to post pics as i'm leaving town for a few days, however I can call the sales manager that I have dealt w/personally in the past and see it he could post some interior pics. Just let me know, and while it is nearly new, I would be more than happy to look it over in person if it was a demo just to make sure. www.JayWolfeAcura.com

I would be very interested in hearing from someone who has seen all of them how the new 2002 Long Beach Blue compares with the 2000-2001 Monaco Blue and the 1997-1999 Monte Carlo Blue.

Here is my opinion on the 3 different Blue's.

Monte Carlo Blue - My favorite Blue. Maybe I'm biased. Everyone has seen it, I don't think I have to describe it.

Monaco Blue - Blue with a purplish tint. The color shade changes a bit depending on different light conditions.

LB Blue - A more "stable" blue. Almost baby-blue to me. It's lighter and more "fluorescent" than both other blues IMO.

Disclaimer: I own a Monte Carlo Blue. I've only seen a LB Blue indoors (at Honda HQ) under fluorescent lights.

INSX,
Got the pics of the red 2002 up for you in the Picture Board. Hope you like them!

Also most people who never saw this color think that it is a 2002 model.

Yes, I saw it a few days ago.
Very nice. However, I would like to know why I never heard Imola Orange NSX sold?
Do you guys love the Imola Orange color?
Or do you hate the color?
I just want to see Imola Orange with different interior colors.
Funny that no one in this forum own that color.

Doh! Sorry, it's Mike Harvey Acura. At any rate, I saw the Imola Orange 2002 last week. I'm sure it's still there.
