2002 headlights

hi guys,
being new to the nsx ownership i haven't figured out yet the best places to shop. could someone tell me who has the best deal on the 2002 headlights?

There's no such thing as "NA2 headlights". NA2 is an engine code for the 3.2-liter engine on all '97-05 manual-transmission NSXs (as opposed to NA1, the engine code for the 3.0-liter engine on all '91-96 manual transmission NSXs and all '91-05 automatic transmission NSXs).

There were two versions of NSX headlights, conventional bulb projector lenses on the '91-01 NSX (including those with NA1 and NA2 engines), and HID on the '02-05 NSX (including those with NA1 and NA2 engines).

Are you aware that the HID headlights from the '02-05 also require replacing (or fabricating) the hood, front bumper, etc? They are not a simple drop-in replacement.

yes, of course i am aware of other items needed but there are a lot of choices out there. the 2002 headlights are the only stock item required- so what is the best deal on them?

If you are looking for just the headlights, then finding a good online OEM vendor is the way to go. Nobody offers a fantastic deal on these products because they are OEM.

However, businesses like Science of Speed and Downforce offer all the wares that you will need for a complete '02 update, including bumpers, headlights, brackets, hood, etc. I know www.Downforce.biz offers this as a complete package. If you plan on doing the update, I highly recomend getting the complete package in one stroke from these vendors. It will save you time, money, and headache.

www.gt-rom.net have some good options for 2002+ lights, good prices too.

I am hopefully upgrading to these soon plus bumper, type R hood etc.
